The Organic Agriculture Centre of Canada, in May 2007, estimated that Canadians spent at least $1 billion on certified organic produce.
The increase in organic sales was 28% since 2005. Hurray!
Healthy food!
Updating this article – it’s now September 2010 – I’m back at Costco. They have enough organics that I shop there again. That’s a good sign when organics go mainstream.
