Health Canada says NO to cough & cold meds for children under 6

For those people who use conventional cough and cold medicines for their children, Health Canada’s advisory against using these medications comes at a bad time. It’s winter. As I look out my picture window the streetscape is white. In Toronto we are in the middle of some heavy snowstorms. Winter is the worst time for colds and flu.
So, what to do? Use Homeopathic cough and cold medicines, and Homeopathic flu medicines, of course! Unlike conventional medicine Homeopathics are not toxic. There are no side effects. Conventional medicines suppress the symptoms. My experience is that suppression with conventional medicine in cough and colds that are in the ENT can end up in the chest and could lead to bronchitis. Homeopathic medicine is gentle in it’s action, alleviates the symptoms, is very effective, and above all is SAFE.
For children who seem to get sick all the time there are homeopathic treatments that help in boosting their immune system so that they can withstand catching germs from the other children in the fall-winter school term. It is worth noting that children, and adults, who are treated with homeopathic medicine for a period of time do not get sick often. When they do, in especially in cases of the flu which could mean a week of staying in bed for everyone else, the homeopathic patient rebounds in a day or two.
