My son’s friend once had the temerity to try to ridicule homeopathy and my practice of it in front of us. He got an earful, the other kid, not mine. The next time he came for a visit we had a recently rescued Siamese cat here to cause him some trouble – the itchy, runny eye, runny nose, allergy kind. I had to ask him a few times, “Are you sure you don’t want me to give you a remedy?”. “O.K.” he finally acquiesces. You could see the barely hidden disdain on his face for the task. Fifteen minutes later he says to me, “I can’t believe it, but something worked.”

He was here for a layover on his way home the night before last. This time he brought his own cat. “What happened? You’re allergic to cats!” He says, yeah, I know…” and changes the conversation, “I’m really sick. Can you give me something?”. I gave him something – homeopathy – and 20 minutes later he says to me, “I feel great. No. What I mean is I feel really better. My sinuses aren’t plugged like they were, and I’ve stopped coughing.” I gave him more for the road. A convert.

Homeopathy is not something you “believe” in. Wouldn’t it seem silly to hear someone say, “I believe in aspirin.” What’s there to ‘believe‘ in? Aspirin works, whether you believe, or not. That is true of homeopathic medicine too.

You don’t have to ‘believe‘ in homeopathy. Homeopathy is based on a natural law. It is based on a philosophy of health, illness and cure. Homeopathy is a complete medical science in its own merit.
