You can carry homeopathic medicine in your carry on luggage

I wanted to check to see how I could take my liquid bottles of homeopathic medicine with me while traveling. Because my flight is 8 hours long I would need to take a couple of doses. Everyone tells me that when they travel they have to pack their liquids into their checked baggage. That doesn’t work too well for me. My husband gave me a really good idea: look it up online. I took one step further: I found the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority website and called to speak to an agent. Happy I did because, guess what? There is a long and extensive list of what can go into your carry on luggage and even how it should be packed.

Here is the excerpt from the website:

Liquid and Gel-based homeopathic products are allowed in carry on as well as in baggage.

These items are considered to be essential non-prescription medications. You are allowed to carry volumes greater than 100 ml (3.4 oz.) in your carry-on baggage. These liquids must be declared to the Screening Officer separately. See our information on liquids for more details.
