World Homeopathy Day, April 10th

Today World Homeopathy Day is celebrated around the world in remembrance of Dr. Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann’s birthday, this year being his 261st.  Dr. Hahnemann made the law of similars (like cures like) into a system of medicine, called homeopathy, today known as nano-medicine, and is the second most widely used medicine around the world.

In 2014, The World Health Organization (WHO) created the current strategy for traditional medicine, which includes homeopathy,  at the World Health Assembly in Geneva. This current strategy has important implications for homeopathy. WHO strongly encourages promotion and inclusion of traditional medicine into universal health care and into primary health care services. The WHO document can be found on the WHO’s website.

The week following is World Homeopathy Awareness Week.
